As of 2007, Cornerstone Mercy Committee is working with the following non-profit organizations that run programs for homeless/sick/financially deprived in our community. The following information is provided for those who might want to volunteer and/or donate above and beyond our involvement for any of the organizations.

Park Christian Academy is striving to provide affordable, quality Christian education that celebrates diverse community and leads inner-city children to know and to serve Jesus Christ. There are many ways to assist their efforts.

Manna on Main Street is a place where those seeking help and those willing to help have gathered to worked together. Manna provides a soup kitchen and food cupboard, and a variety of other programs to help individuals in need. The mission of Manna on Main Street is to provide assistance to members of the community in obtaining the goods and services needed for daily living and basic human dignity.

Inter-faith Housing Alliance is to serve God by providing charitable services to persons located in Montgomery County whose life situations have become unstable. These charitable services shall include homelessness prevention, temporary shelter, guidance in life skills, and assistance in locating appropriate housing opportunities thus enabling families at risk to remain in or return to independent living.

Chosen 300 is bringing Christians of different membership groups together; helping them to realize that despite our differences in our race, ethnic group, denomination, social class, economic classes, or the diverse ways we practice our faith; we can unify ourselves for the common good. The purpose of our unification is to distribute meals & services to the homeless; To provide pre-release classes to incarcerated persons: and afford positive value programs for inter-city youth.

Wellness Community Center is to help people affected by cancer enhance their health and well-being through participation in a professional program of emotional support, education and hope. All programs and services are provided at no charge to participants.

8th Street Church is a newly planted church in Hunting Park section of Philadelphia. The mission of 8th Street Church is to reach out to young and old and to transform them with the Gospel of Jesus Christ so that they can experience overflowing joy in spite of their immediate surroundings. They are looking for support during Thanksgiving (turkey drive) and Christmas (toy shop). They are also looking for volunteers who can commit for a period of time to tutor students who need academic assistance.
